Donate to help save the Field and Study Park.
They’re Coming For Our Parks
One of the reasons we pay rates is to use the park. Despite this, there’s a build up on trying to commercialise parks. The Field and Study Park is one of the target areas.
Parks are there for the benefit of the public and FOFS (Friends of the Field and Study) is currently consulting Adam Gunn Attorneys on protecting the Field and Study Park. Additionally, FOFS Executive Committee Member, Attorney Rod Harper has arranged for Gottschalk Attorneys to hold the FOFS Trust Fund.

Our Current Initiatives
Save Our Park: Legal matter of 2.5 years to prevent private commercial development that prioritises private profit over free access for all.
Ensuring Accountability: Ensuring environmental law is followed and the correct legal protocol and due process is enforced for any proposed park development.
Park Maintenance: Keeping entrance and other garden areas beautiful, upkeep of playground equipment, removing alien plants, planting indigenous vegetation
Park Clean Up: FOFS members and directors involved in weekly clean ups and organising community and school clean up initiatives.
