Despite level 4 the need for fresh air and sunshine saw park users coming and children being able to run around in the 20 acres of fresh air.

INCIDENT

A drunk individual from the Sport and Rec. side tackled Gladys as she was coming along the road for night shift. Fortunately he was so drunk she grabbed his shirt and got him to where the Rec. guards were and her partner also arrived.

This is not the first time his drunkenness has caused problems. It was reported to the Guard’s supervisors and the Manager of the Rec. Centre is well aware of this. We have not had another incident. This is totally unacceptable.

PARK

The grass is in not doing well and there is frost most mornings and the Harvester ants are out in their droves skimming what little grass is left, not to mention the rabbits. Children and their bikes are enjoying the hard surface.

The Rec. Centre is getting a make-over and our summerhouse needs one as well. The beams need oiling, and the roof needs painting. The Guard hut needs oiling and needs propping up.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO DO ALL THIS. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP US.
